WHAT?
DAZE of Code is a coding competition open to all GECA students. In self-assigned teams of 1-3, aspiring technologists will compete to have the best code based projects such as Building a Website, Video Game, etc... and prizes will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place team members
(Prizes will change depending upon which section of the competition you place into, i.e. Experienced v.s. Beginner).

Why?
We want to give all GECA students the opportunity to experiment, produce and dabble in the basics of app development.
We want to inspire all GECA students to dream BIG and be solve authentic problems within our community and beyond.

HOW?
This is a friendly, competitive hack-a-thon for all levels of coders. No prior experience with coding languages is required, but each team member MUST demonstrate a solid concept for their project. For ideas on how you can accomplish this, see some of the videos regarding MIT Scratch and MIT App Inventor posted on this site. Once you are ready to register, please see Hannah Leonard at the weekly Tech Club meetings in room 6 at GECA.
When?
All projects will be judged and put on display on January 27th, After Winter break!
The competition itself will take place at lunch on the fist Friday after Winter Break on GECA's campus.
